Here's a new comic/manga short!   It took me longer than expected, but now that I've finished it, I've gained new respect for those who draw comics on a daily basis.

I envisioned myself starting a webseries of my own few years ago with these 2 characters called Kyou (the girl) and Roi/Roy (the guy).  They were both created around 5-6 years ago, but sadly this series as a whole has been stuck in a limbo for the past 2 years because I've taken main interest in developing another project that I've had for perhaps an even longer time.  Furthermore, I couldn't come up with a satisfying story idea, so needless to say, I left it for 2 years but haven't forgotten the characters. I decided to revive it because this was to be something that would take inspiration from my high school years, but now that I am going way past that age, my high school memories are starting to become very hazy.  And if there's a story I want to crash and burn, I wouldn't mind it being this one XD  This also entailed that in order to draw the characters, I had to go back to my older art style and.... it's hard lmao.  In any case, I've sort of mapped out a general layout of how the story is going to go now, but I'm still pretty much jumping around with the chronology of the whole story.  For instance, this comic is chronologically supposed to take place towards the near end haha (so yeah this could be a mild spoiler), but I can go backward storywise and figure it from there.  Plus, who knows, maybe this part will be covered up by newer submissions and I might eventually retcon this.  

As for the making of this, the character lineart was done in pencil that I scanned in because I have the terrible, terrible habit of breaking my inking instruments in practice and backgrounds and screentones were done digitally.  The character lineart was done traditionally because I was getting fed up of digital lineart, thinking it took too much time, but turns out the other way was long too >__>
